Foodlink celebrates our 4 Star Charity Navigator rating. Charity Navigator works to guide intelligent giving by evaluating over five thousand charities in financial health and stewardship. The Charity Navigator rating illustrates our exemplary model of efficiency- 97 cents of every dollar donated goes directly to programs.
Food for Families: Thank You
A giant thank you to Tops and WROC-TV FOX Rochester for a very succecssful event! Thank you to everyone who made a donation of food or money or bought a "Little Brown Bag of Hope" during the Food for Families campaign! We raised nearly $47,200 and close to 50,000 pounds of food to be allocated to local families in need during these winter months! Visit our news page for more information about the event.

Greentopia: Thank You
The Greentopia Festival was Rochester New York’s and the Finger Lakes celebration of the green movement sweeping around the globe. Festival of Food: Thank You
Thank you to everyone who made the Festival of Food a success. The 2011 Festival of Food brought nearly 1200 attendees to the Rochester Public Market. Check Out Hunger
Foodlink's Check Out Hunger campaign is an annual fundraiser held at local grocery stores. The Check Out Hunger campaign raises vital funds for Foodlink. Contributions help us distribute food and resources to those in need throughout the year. During the campaign, grocery store customers have the choice to donate $2, $3 or $5 at the check-out. Participating grocers include Wegmans, Tops, and other retailers. The last Check Out Hunger campaign raised more than $750,000. This year's Wegmans Check Out Hunger campaign begins October 23. Festival of Food
Festival of Food is the largest local tasting event in Rochester. The evening at the Rochester Public Market celebrates the region’s agricultural bounty and culinary talent. Over 100 restaurants, wineries, breweries, bakeries and farms provide delicious samples for over 1,000 attendees. Visit www.festivaloffood.org for more information. Food for Families
Food for Families is a week-long food and fund drive in December to benefit Foodlink. Tops Friendly Markets, WROC-TV and FOX Rochester partner with Foodlink to collect food and monetary donations to help families in need. Thank you to everyone for helping Foodlink raise more than 49,000 pounds and $28,500 during Food for Families in 2010.
Gala in the Park
Foodlink joins in the festivities of Rochester's most famous spring event, the Lilac Festival. Foodlink hosts Gala in the Park as part of the Lilac Festival's Wine, Jazz and Blues Day. Join us at the lovely Lamberton Conservatory in Highland Park for an evening of appetizers, dinner, and beautiful botanicals. Attendees receive reserved seating to see the evening's jazz concert, which has featured artists such as Steve Tyrell, Asleep at the Wheel and Carolyn Wonderland.
United Way Day of Caring
Each spring hundreds of volunteers come from different companies to volunteer at Foodlink for the United Way Day of Caring. Employees from Kodak, Xerox, and Constellation Brands have donated their time to help the community in which they work. Volunteers help Foodlink with facilities projects, food sorting and other needed jobs.
