The Curbside Market is Foodlink’s market on wheels that links communities in the Rochester area to fresh, affordable food. Volunteers will ride along with our vehicle operators to multiple sites to assist customers and/or deliver pre-ordered boxes of food. This opportunity can accept only 1 volunteer per shift.
Date & Time: Varies
Locations: Will meet at Foodlink (2011 Mt. Read Blvd.) and then travel with the vehicle operator to various locations.
Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old. Must wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.
Physical Intensity: High. The volunteer project will include walking, standing, and lifting boxes up to 25-50 pounds. Volunteer activities will take place outside.
