Volunteer at Foodlink

As a group

Foodlink has limited availability for volunteer groups (5+) to assist with our Distribution Center and Community Farm projects. Please submit a group reservation request below to schedule a date for your group to volunteer with us. Our volunteer programs coordinator, Jessica Lockett, will contact you about availability. Due to the high volume of requests we have received so far, please allow for a week turnaround in response.

Additionally, project-specific opportunities for groups with developmental and intellectual disabilities are still suspended. We encourage organizations to participate with their clients on a 1:1 basis for available shifts. Please see our individual volunteer opportunities page for more details.

Adults

Foodlink welcomes volunteer groups, whose participants are at least 18+, for a variety of projects including Donation Sorting, Emergency Food Box Distribution, and the Lexington Avenue Community Farm (seasonal).

Explore our opportunities and submit your group reservation request today.

Youth

Foodlink can accommodate youths (with adult chaperones) as young as 13 to assist with our Donation Sorting and Lexington Avenue Community Farm volunteer projects. Please note that there should be one chaperone for every six youths.
