Foodlink’s Fall Festival!

Foodlink will host its inaugural Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 22 at its community farm on Lexington Avenue. The event comes at the conclusion of the growing season for the farm, which serves as a community garden for local residents – a majority of whom are resettled refugees – in the Edgerton and Lyell-Otis neighborhoods. Foodlink also utilizes part of the farm as a commercial growing space for some of its programs, such as the Curbside Market and the Foodlink Community Kitchen. The event will include free pumpkins, cider, and donuts, kids games and more. The Curbside Market will be on site with coupons, and Foodlink’s Community Health team also will lead cooking demonstrations for guests. The Lyell Otis Community Association and the Maplewood Neighborhood Association have joined on as sponsors for the event, which is free and open to the public.
