Where to find free holiday meals around Thanksgiving time in the Rochester area

 

The following list provides dates and times that Foodlink members (Rochester-area community meal programs) are providing a free holiday meal for people between Nov. 17 and Nov. 24. Meals are either held in a sit-down environment, or are grab & go.

 

Thursday, Nov. 17

  • Central Church of Christ (101 S. Plymouth) — 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Grab-and-go option available)

 

Friday, Nov. 18

  • St. Peter’s Kitchen (681 Brown St.) — 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. (Must register in advance, (585) 235-6511, and service is limited to the following zip codes: 14604, 14606, 14608, 14611 & 14619)

 

Saturday, Nov. 19

  • House of Grace (1101 Norton St.) — 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Grab-and-go option only)
  • Northside Church of Christ (634 Hudson Ave.) — 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (Grab-and-go option only)

 

Sunday, Nov. 20

  • A Meal & More (25 Lawn St.) — 1 p.m.

 

Monday, Nov. 21

  • Covenant Table (1124 Culver Rd.) — 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. (Grab-and-go option available)

 

Tuesday, Nov. 22

  • Cameron Community Ministries (48 Cameron St.) — 9-11 a.m.
  • Blessed Sacrament (534 Oxford St.) — 5:30 p.m. (Primarily a grab-and-go option)
  • Lydia’s Kitchen (306 E. Main St., Batavia) — 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Grab-and-go option only)

 

Wednesday, Nov. 23

  • Dimitri House (102 N. Union St.) — 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
  • A Meal & More (25 Lawn St.) — 11:30 a.m.
  • Eastern Orleans Community Center (75 Public Square, Holley) — 11:30 a.m.
  • Newark Free Lunch Program (301 E. Miller St., Newark) — 11:30 a.m. (Grab-and-go option only)

 

Thursday, Nov. 24

  • Open Door Mission/Samaritan House (156 N. Plymouth)– 3-7 p.m. (Grab-and-go option available)
