Check Out Hunger
This year marks the 31st year that Foodlink and Wegmans have partnered for the annual Check Out Hunger campaign. The local campaign begins Wednesday, Oct. 23, at 21 Rochester-area stores – and runs through Nov. 30 in conjunction with other Wegmans campaigns that support food banks up and down the East Coast.
The point-of-sale campaign allows Wegmans shoppers to donate a few dollars – or simply round up their grocery bill – while checking out at their local store. All proceeds from local stores benefit Foodlink and its mission of ending hunger and building healthier communities.
