Congrats to our 2022 Festival of Food Best Taste Winners!

Foodlink’s annual fall fundraiser, Festival of Food returned on Monday, September 12, after taking two years off due to the pandemic.

Also making its grand return were the Best Taste Awards — with cash prizes included for the very first time for all winners.

With the help of generous support from our of our sponsors Baldwin Richardson Food Co. and DGA Builders, we were able to award winners $1,000! Given the current state of the food and drink industry, COVID and the way the economy currently is, we’re happy that we were able to thank our vendors and provide a little extra with this year’s Best Taste awards.

The winners for this year’s awards were … (drumroll) …

Best Taste Overall Food winner, Lucky’s served up a delicious duck liver mousse on a crostini.

Best Taste Overall Drink winner, Genesee Brewing Company poured its Cranberry Orange Kellerbier and its Oktoberfest.

Hospitality Award winner, Guglielmo’s Sauce dished up meatballs in marinara sauce.

Most Unique Dish winner, jojo’s Bistro & Winer Bar served up butternut squash soup with cajun-pulled chicken lemon-scented crème fraîche and toasted pumpkin seeds.

Most Unique Drink winner, OSB Ciderworks poured its Pumpkin for the People cider.

Most Likely to Visit Again winner, Levantine’s Syrian Café & Cuisine served a variety of different items off their menu included falafel with yogurt-tahini sauce and fried pita croutons.

Thank you for all those who participated in the voting and congratulations to all of winners this year!
