Stokoe Farms chooses Foodlink as the beneficiary for the America’s Farmers Grow Communities Bayer Fund

Brandon Marshall of Stokoe Farms is one of New York’s 2023 America’s Farmers Grow Communities Bayer Fund recipients.

America’s Farmers started in 2010, the America’s Farmers programs, sponsored by the Bayer Fund, a philanthropic arm of Bayer, have been dedicated to partnering with farmers to strengthen rural communities. Each year, eligible farmers enroll for a chance to support a rural nonprofit organization with an America’s Farmers Grow Communities donation. Awardees are granted $5,000 to chose what nonprofit they would like to make a positive impact on.

Since 2010, the America’s Farmers programs have collectively given more than $65 million to thousands of organizations to strengthen rural communities. Brandon Marshall chose Foodlink as the beneficiary.

“Foodlink is so grateful that Brandon has chosen Foodlink as the beneficiary of this grant,” said Julia Tedesco, President & CEO of Foodlink. “We’re proud of all of the partnerships we have with local farmers across the region, and will use this funding to support our mission of ending hunger and building healthier communities.”
