If Music Be The Food
“If Music Be the Food…” is a series of benefit concerts that raise awareness about food insecurity in the Rochester community through the sharing of great music.
The series’ 17th season includes the following three concerts:
- Sunday, Oct. 19 (3pm) at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church
- Sunday, Feb. 8 (4pm) at Third Presbyterian Church
- Sunday, April 19 (3pm) at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church
Each concert is a fully grass-roots community event involving professionals, students, and local volunteers in joyful collaboration. We are striving to address nourishment in all of its forms; our bodies need it in the form of food and our souls need it in the form of music and community!
Thank you to award-winning cellist Mimi Hwang, who organizes the event in collaboration with the Eastman School of Music.
